Getting the Most From Your Annual Appeal

This workshop by Gayle Gifford and Jon Howard of Cause & Effect, Inc. took place on October 8, 2009 at the Audubon Society of RI Headquarters and covered fundraising do's and don'ts, including how to create a powerful and effective appeal package that attracts attention and drives response, ways to increase the size of gifts and how to build donor loyalty by acknowledging gifts.

After the workshop, Cause & Effect, Inc. worked one-on-one with the Barrington Land Conservation Trust and the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council on their annual appeal letters. Draft letters were reviewed by Cause & Effect, Inc. and recommendations were made. The final letters were then prepared and used for the 2009 Annual Appeal. The review process can be followed in the documents below.
