The 2023 Mini-Summit was held on April 8, 2023. Program

Keynote: The Joy of Winter Sowing - Native Plant Propagation from Seed and the ReSeeding RI Project
The presentation describes the joyful journey of producing over 5,000 RI Native Plants over the past year demonstrating all facets of plant propagation.  From seed collection, cleaning, winter sowing, repotting and distribution of mature plants to US Fish and Wildlife Service Refuges throughout the state,  Master Gardeners at the Kettle Pond Native Plant Garden are instrumental at every step.

ReSeeding RI, a RI Wild Plant Society Project, is committed to produce an abundance of RI Native seeds and plants through a cooperative relationship with RIWPS, organic farmers, and land trust in RI so that Rhode Islanders will have a true source of RI Native Plants in the near future.

Keynote begins at 30:00
